WOWEEeeeeee November already...

I love November soooo much...Its a time to reflect on families and all the things we are thankful for.....colorful leaves...cool nights...sunny days STILL...the laughter of little voices and happy little faces...yummy food and gatherings of loved ones...

At preschool today we talking about being thankful and started our "THANKFUL" book.....started singing some new songs that the kids are excited about...reviewed letters and worked on our color books...

Ell was the special leader today...starting our day with circle time and the pledge.

Crew wanted to read the class a story.....they love this book...I read it to them every day for a few weeks so when Crew read it today he knew it by heart and did such a great job.

YEP... our turkeys have all colors of feathers...

 

 

We painted what ever colors we wanted and then drew our hand prints on the painted paper for our Thankful book....they rally turned out cute and COLORFUL!

Were talking about being thankful this month .....
 I decided to create a thankful book that the kids could write and draw something they are thankful for each day they are at school this month. Then send it home right before Thanksgiving to share with their families...
Today when asking them what they were thankful for....with such sincere little voices each told me something special...it brought tears to my eye...soooo sweet and right from the heart...I cant wait to see this book finished with precious thoughts of them....and what they love.

Oct 31 4 year class

Halloween day....full of fun and excitement for this group of kids...

Arri was the special leader today dressed up as the cutest LaLa Loopsy ever.

 

 

 

 We worked on our colors today with our pumpkin color worksheet.

 

 

 

 

 

Our spider counting book was so much fun to do...

We've been working on numbers so this little book is the perfect project.

The kids loved choosing the pom pom and colored eyes on the spider for the front of the book....look how darling they turned out. 

Just a few of the pages in the book...I told them that the spiders didn't have to go on them but just on the page somewhere....Its really hard to make tiny spiders when you have to make 8 of them.

It was so nice outside today that a little outside play was a must...

So we played red rover red rover...the kids loved this game.

Thanks Crews mom  "Whitney" for bringing cute cupcakes for the class...PERFECT for the end of the day.

Oct 30 Halloween day 3 year class

Halloween is always such a fun day...since we had our Halloween party on Monday today is a regular day of school with a little treat from Talen...THANKS TALEN for the treat bags for everyone!!!

• What a great week for these boys I love that they have gained new friends and Ive watched them help each other out...
• Boys will be boys ...yep we've had a few hits and tears but nothing that lasts longer than a few minutes...
• We had cheese and crackers  and apples today for a treat ...I thought they needed a little good stuff before they eat candy candy candy.
• Talked about the letter Hh and worked on our colors.

 

LOVIN......the treat bags...Talen said that his Me Ma bought me tons and tons of candy...so cute!

 

 

I have read this book " Skeleton meets the Mummy" to the kids every day for the past week or so that I thought it would be fun to have them retell the story...

Tyce knew the story almost word for word so stinkin cute I took this photo that captured the moment...PRICELESS!!

Working on our colors today coloring our Halloween pumpkins...I'm so proud of them they are getting so good to recognize their colors.



 

 

Today I introduced the ruler to the class...we made a car track that had letters and places for them to drive their cars...

they did a really good job and when I would tell them to drive to the letter H they would with lots of car sounds...this was a fun work page for the kids.

 

 

 

The kids love my BIG race track...This is only the second time Ive gotten it out...when its put together it winds around the whole front room...the boys love this...the great thing is when the cars need new batteries I give them the screwdriver and they fix their car.....they feel so big!!!
